The following reasons result in the Xiaomi Smart Band 9 not saving exercise records:
1. During exercise, if the band is turned off or restarted, no exercise data will be generated;
2. If outdoor sports are enabled on the Mi Fitness APP, please ensure that the app runs in the background and remains connected to the band. If the APP is disconnected from the band or the APP is hacked, it will cause the band to be forcibly exited and unable to generate motion data;
3. Outdoor sports rely on mobile GPS to record trajectories and distance. Therefore, when engaging in outdoor activities, it is necessary to turn on GPS and APP location permissions on the phone.
(1). iOS phone: Go to [Settings] >> [Privacy & Security] >> turn on [Location Services] >> scroll down and find the [Mi Fitness] APP >> enable [While Using the APP] (When the App location permission is set to While Using the APP, there will be situations where the track and location are lost);
(2). Android phone: Go to [Settings] >> [Apps] >> [manage apps] >> [Mi Fitness] >> [App permissions] >> [Location].
