The Xiaomi Smart Band 9 utilizes Bluetooth wireless technology to connect with phones. Wireless connections are susceptible to factors such as distance, radio frequency interference, and obstructions, which will lead to intermittent disconnection between the band and the phone. In such cases, the band is designed to automatically reconnect with the phone when it returns within range.
If automatic reconnection does not occur upon returning within range, please follow these steps for recovery:
1. Verify that the location permission for the Mi Fitness APP is set to always allow. Only when set to always allow can the APP initiate the reconnection action when the band returns within range;
2. Try force closing the APP and then restarting it;
3. Attempt to turn off the Bluetooth on the phone and then turn it back on;
4. In the phone's Bluetooth settings, select the band device and unpair it. Returning to the APP to initiate reconnection and confirm the prompt when it appears to complete the reconnection process.
