The rice cooker will not leak air after closing the lid. The rice cooker seals the inner pot through an elastic sealing ring in the lid. The gap between the closed lid and the main body will not affect the cooking performance of the rice cooker, so please feel free to use it.
Explanation of the reserved gap for sealing:
1. The lid of the rice cooker is a movable component. Closing the lid is achieved by locking the lid with the front end of the pot. To ensure smooth opening and closing of the lid, a certain gap needs to be reserved between the lid and the main body. In addition, the lid is equipped with an opening auxiliary spring to provide power for the opening. Therefore, after the lid is closed, there will be a certain amount of rebound, forming a tiny gap with the main body;
2. Most rice cookers in the industry are designed with an upper and lower buckle structure. The gap between the closed lid and the main body is a design reservation, which is a normal phenomenon;
3. There is a reserved gap design between the closed lid and the main body of the rice cooker. At this point, there will be upward and downward movement when pressing the closed lid with your hand, which means there will be slight shaking after closing the lid. This is also a normal phenomenon.
