If a video is recorded due to motion detection, it will not record another video during the cooldown period (even if there is motion), which is the time interval for camera alerts.
Note:
The camera can still use the Home surveillance feature without purchasing the Xiaomi Home Secure Service. This means that you can normally use the Home surveillance without paying for Xiaomi Home Secure.
