How to view weather data and switch cities on the Xiaomi Smart Watch/Xiaomi Smart Band?
To view weather data on your watch/band, please refer to the following steps:
1. Open the Mi Fitness app and go to [Device];
2. Scroll down and select [Weather];
3. Turn on [Weather updates].
The weather interface of the watch/band will display a button to switch cities after adding other cities to the Mi Fitness app. Only locating the current city will be displayed and no button to switch cities if no other cities are added.
To add other cities on the Mi Fitness app, please refer to the following steps:
1. Open the [Mi Fitness] app on your smartphone;
2. Go to [Device];
2. Scroll down and select [Weather];
3. Tap on [Locations] to add the other city.
Note:
1. If the region on your watch is not automatically updated after switching cities, please go to the Mi Fitness app to resynchronize;
2. To view real-time weather on your watch/band, the device needs to be connected to the phone and the Weather updates function should be enabled. The watch/band will display the last time weather synchronized information if it was not connected to the phone;
3. It cannot directly view the weather through components on the watch if you delete the Weather widgets in the Mi Fitness app;
4. The weather information displayed on the watch is pushed back by the Mi Fitness App from the service provider. If it is different from the weather service provider used by the mobile phone system, the result displayed may be slightly different;
5. The phone will regularly issue and store weather data on the watch/band when it is connected to your device. The real-time update of weather information requires high timeliness. To avoid misleading offline weather, the phone will regularly clear cached data and issue the latest weather data;
6. The Mi Fitness app needs to be turned on when updating weather information. If the background of the Mi Fitness app is cleared, the weather information will be updated when the app is reopened and data synchronization is completed.
