How to set the Child lock on the Xiaomi Smart Filtered Water Dispenser Pro?
A: To avoid accidental scalding, the default water above 50℃needs to be unlocked by the Child lock.
To set the Child lock mode, please refer to the following steps:
1. Temporary unlocking for water collection: Press the [Water collection (confirm)/Child lock button] to unlock, then press the [Water collection (confirm)/Child lock button] again to retrieve water;
2. Cancel the child lock function: Press and hold on the [Water collection (confirm)/Child lock button] for 5 seconds. After cancellation, the Child lock function will no longer be automatically activated when the water outlet temperature is ≥ 50℃;
3. To restore the child lock function: press and hold on the [Water collection (confirm)/Child lock button] for 5 seconds.
Go to Mi Home APP plugin settings >> [Child lock] >> Hot water at 50℃and above needs to be unlocked/ Any temperature of water needs to be unlocked.
