The Xiaomi Smart Watch/Xiaomi Smart Band can't be located or is positioned inaccurately
If your device can’t be located or is positioned inaccurately, please do the following troubleshooting:
1. Devices that support independent satellite positioning can be used independently. Opening the sports items that require positioning on the device to search for satellites automatically. If the satellite search is not successful, the location will be abnormal if the device can’t be located;
2. Please confirm whether your device supports the positioning function. Devices that support independent satellite positioning can be located normally even if Bluetooth is disconnected. Devices that do not support independent satellite positioning need to maintain the app's Bluetooth connection to obtain mobile phone positioning information;
3. Equipment positioning depends on the ability to search for satellites. It is difficult to search for satellites indoors, underground, in tunnels, under bridges and in other environments, resulting in the inability to position. It is recommended to go to an open area to locate successfully or connect the device to a phone to locate via the phone's GPS.
Note:
1. Common factors affecting satellite search include dense buildings, tunnels, underground parking lots, viaducts, and rainy weather;
2. When using the device in a new location, it will take a little longer to acquire the positioning. Generally, the device can be positioned successfully in an open outdoor area with good satellite signals within 1 minute;
3. When there is no GPS signal, the location of the device will not be displayed;
4. If the device does not support independent satellite positioning, please ensure that the app is connected to the device and open the app to obtain positioning permissions; (Mi Fitness app >> select [Profile] >> tap [App permissions] >> tap the [Access location] which needs to allow access)
