What is Wi-Fi 4/5/6/7?

To make it easier for most people to better identify the technical standards implemented by daily connected Wi-Fi, the Wi-Fi Alliance announced that it simplified the names of corresponding technical standards, including the latest generation 802.11.ax, whose name is abbreviated as Wi-Fi 6.
The new names corresponding to each standard are as follows:
