The monitoring image of the Xiaomi Smart Camera in night vision mode is unclear/exposed

To check for unclear monitoring images of the camera in night vision mode, please refer to the following steps:
1. Check the placement and surrounding environment of the camera. Keep the surrounding area of the camera open and no obstructions to prevent infrared light from fully reaching the monitored area;
2. The table where you place the camera also blocks infrared light, so the camera can be placed at the edge of the tabletop to achieve the best night vision effect;
3. The camera can’t capture normally due to the reflection of infrared fill light back to the lens when facing glass or other reflective objects in night vision mode. Suggest you change the camera position;
4. Overexposure occurs under night vision conditions, which is a normal phenomenon. The main reason is that the object being photographed is too close to the lens and the infrared light is too strong;
5. There will be a certain amount of overexposure if the shooting object is relatively close and bright. The ultra-low light color mode will also increase the overall brightness, causing the overall lighting font to glow. This is also a normal phenomenon and no after-sales service is required. You can just adjust the shooting angle;
6. Please change the device to a different usage environment or enhance the network conditions, if the objects captured by the camera appear to be similar to moiré patterns (or described as similar to mosaics). Power off the device and restart it before using it again;
7. The dimness condition in the night vision image is caused by the reflection of the fill light when the camera is placed at a high position with the lens facing downwards. If you hang the device on the wall, please flip the device upside down;
8. If the camera is in use (night vision or non-night vision), the monitoring interface appears red or purple. This is because the infrared filter of the device does not switch normally and you need to power off the device and restart it.
