The Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 Pro doesn’t move properly

If the Mi Robot Vacuum-Mop 2 Pro moves in a back-and-forth or zigzag motion across the cleaning area instead of following a straight line. This cleaning method ensures more thorough coverage and efficient cleaning by systematically covering the entire space without missing any spots.
If the robot vacuum doesn’t move properly, please refer to the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Inspect the wheels of the robot vacuum to ensure they are not obstructed or stuck. If the wheels cannot rotate freely, it may cause the robot vacuum to move backward unintentionally;
2. Check if the robot vacuum’s LDS (Laser Distance Sensor) is rotating. Gently tap the cover of the sensor and see if it bounces back;
3. Check if the robot vacuum’s LDS sensor is blocked by any debris or hair;
4. Sometimes, a simple reboot can resolve issues. Turn off the robot vacuum, wait for a few minutes, and then turn it back on;
5. As a last resort, reset the vacuum to its factory settings. Once the vacuum has reset, you need to set it up again using the Mi Home app.
