When establishing a connection between your Mi Wireless Outdoor Security Camera 1080p and the Mi Home app, please select a Wi-Fi network and input the password to establish the connection.
If the connection cannot be established, you can follow the steps below to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Ensure that your Wi-Fi network meets the requirements of the camera. It should be a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network, as the Mi Wireless Outdoor Security Camera 1080p doesn't support 5GHz networks;
2. Ensure that the camera is within range of your Wi-Fi router and that the signal strength is strong enough for a stable connection. You may need to move the camera closer to the router temporarily during setup;
3. Double-check the Wi-Fi settings on your smartphone. Make sure you're connecting to the correct Wi-Fi network and entering the correct password;
4. Ensure that there is no special character in the Wi-Fi password;
5. Connect your smartphone to the network and see if the network is in good condition;
6. If the camera is still not connecting, you can try resetting it to its factory settings. There is a reset button on the camera that you can press and hold for a few seconds to reset it.
If the issue still remains unresolved, don't hesitate to reach out to either our local service center or seller for assistance. They'll be more than happy to help you out!
