The Xiaomi Smart Pet Fountain doesn’t pump up the water

If the Xiaomi Smart Pet Fountain doesn’t pump up the water, please refer to the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:
1. Ensure that the pet fountain is properly connected to a power outlet. Check if the power cord is damaged and if the power power is loosen;
2. Ensure that the components such as the cover and water outlet are properly installed and not clogged;
3. Make sure that the physical button is in good condition and not stuck;
4. Check if the power contacts are in good condition and connected properly. Clean it or remove any dirt if necessary;
5. Clean the pump’s interior and install it properly to see if the issue persists;
6. If you have recently replaced the filter, it may cause the pump to malfunction. To avoid this issue, soak the filter in clean water for 5 minutes or rinse it for 2 minutes. Failure to soak it may result in no water coming out for a short time;
7. Sometimes, software glitches can prevent the pet fountain from operating. Please check and update the firmware to the latest version in the Mi Home app;
8. Check if the Wi-Fi connection and the Bluetooth connection are both in good condition. Try using the physical button to power on the device to see if the connection issues prevent the device from pumping up via the app;
9. As a last resort, reset the pet fountain to its factory settings. Once the pet fountain has reset, you need to set it up again using the Mi Home app or configuration interface.
