If your Xiaomi Smart Pet Feeder can’t dispense food, please refer to the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Ensure that the feeder is properly connected to a power outlet and that the power cord is functioning correctly. Make sure there are no loose connections or issues with the power outlet or the power port on the back of the device;
2. Check the dispensing indicator on the feeder to identify any issues. If the indicator is orange, it indicates a dispensing error. Please clean the dispensing tube to check if the issue persists;
3. Dispensing food manually via the app or pressing the physical [Dispense] button to see if the device responds or the food outlet rotates;
4. Check if any foreign objects are blocking the food outlet. If there are, clear away any debris or clumped food that could be causing the issue;
5. Check for any available firmware updates to resolve the issue within the Mi Home app;
6. Delete it from the Mi Home app and then re-add it to the app to see if the issue persists;
7. Uninstall the Mi Home app and reinstall it again to see if the issue persists;
8. If the feeder is still not dispensing food properly, try resetting it to its factory settings.
