Mi Smart Speaker Lite not responding to voice commands.

If your Mi Smart Speaker Lite is not responding to voice commands, you can try the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Ensure that the microphone on the Mi Smart Speaker Lite is not obstructed or covered. Make sure there is no dust or debris blocking the microphone. Clean the microphone area if necessary;
2. Verify that your Mi Smart Speaker Lite is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network. Voice commands require an internet connection to process and respond to your requests. If the Wi-Fi connection is weak or unstable, it may affect the responsiveness of the speaker. Try moving the speaker closer to the Wi-Fi router or resetting your Wi-Fi router to improve the connection;
3. Power off your Mi Smart Speaker Lite by unplugging it from the power source. Wait for a few seconds, then plug it back in and power it on. This simple restart can resolve temporary glitches and restore the responsiveness of the speaker;
4. Check if there are any available firmware updates for your Mi Smart Speaker Lite. Firmware updates often include bug fixes and performance improvements that can address issues related to voice commands. You can check for firmware updates using the Mi Home app or through Xiaomi's official support channels;
5. Ensure that the Mi Home app or any other app you are using to control the Mi Smart Speaker Lite has the necessary microphone permissions. Go to your device settings, locate the app permissions, and make sure the microphone permission is enabled for the respective app;
6. If the above steps don't work, you can try performing a factory reset on your Mi Smart Speaker to reset it to its default settings. Please note that a factory reset will erase all personalized settings and configurations on the speaker. Press play/pause button and hold for 5 secs till the voice prompts for factory reset.
