Mi phone system update failure (OTA update)
Reason:
The process of system update:
1. The mobile phone obtains the re-installation package from the server and downloads it.
2. After the download of the package, the server will verify the package online.
3. After the package has been verified, reinstall the system.
Solution:
1. The possible reasons and solutions for the failure of downloading the re-installation package are as follows:
(1) Sign into Xiaomi community and check the latest system version and make sure that the flash package has not stopped pushing.
(2) The current system version of the mobile phone is too old.
(3) The network is not connected to the server because of network reasons or other reasons, so it is suggested to replace the network.
(4) If the above methods don’t work, select "download the latest version of the full package" or "manually select the installation package" to upgrade the system in the system update. For older system version it is recommended to clean up all data to avoid data conflicts.
