The App prompts that the device is offline or fails to be opened. In this case, the Mi Home Security Camera is disconnected from the network. Check as follows:
1. Check whether the Mi Home Security Camera is unplugged or disconnected from the power supply, and check whether the adapter meets the power supply requirements of the Camera. Some cameras need to use 5V/2A adapters;
2. Check whether the router works normally, whether the router is powered on, and whether the Wi-Fi name and password of the router have been changed;
3. Determine the status of the camera body indicator. The yellow light is steady on when the camera is started, the yellow light is blinking when the camera is started, the blue light is blinking when the network is connected, and the blue light is steady on when the network is connected successfully.
4. If there is no problem in steps 1, 2 and 3 above, then:
(1) Check whether the Wi-Fi connected to the mobile phone is also unable to access the Internet. If so, you need to check the working status of the router at home and the broadband situation;
(2) If the mobile Internet access is normal, the Wi-Fi where the camera is located may be disconnected, which may be caused by Wi-Fi interference or weak signal through the wall. You can route the camera close to the Wi-Fi;
③ Internet access is normal, and the Camera is close to the Wi-Fi route, but the blue light is still blinking. Try to power off and restart the Mi Home Security Camera.
(4) If the fault persists, reset the camera and connect to the Wi-Fi again.
5. Check whether the camera firmware and Mi Home App version need to be updated;
6. Check whether the memory card is inserted into the camera and can be removed (if the memory card is incompatible with the device, the device system will crash and go offline);
7. Uninstall and reinstall Mi Home App;
8. Change the network and try to create a mobile hotspot;
9. Replace your phone and try it again.
