2. PROMOTION PERIOD

The promotion begins at 12:00 24th February 2022 and ends on 23:59 9th March 2022.

3. TERRITORY

4. ELIGIBLE USERS

1) You must be of legal age in the Territory (18 years of age or older) in which you reside to participate in this Promotion and have legal capacity.

10. Liability and Representation

10.1 Promoter Representation

Unless otherwise expressly stated in this T&C, Promoter and its affiliated or third-party promoters provide the Promotion on best effort basis only and exclude all warranties and conditions of any kind whether expressly or implied. In particular but without limitation, Promoter and its affiliated or third-party promoters do not warrant or represent that:
(i) The Promotion is fit for any purpose or meet Users requirements or is provided without any errors or deficiencies or that the Promotion in compliance with any quality levels, as the case may be;
(ii) The Promotion is available to User at any time and provided to User without disruption, interruption or delay;
(iii) Any information (whether oral or written) obtained by User from Promoter or as a result of Users taking part in the Promotion (including any materials or products) will be suitable, accurate, complete, or reliable; and
(iv) That any deficiencies in the Promotion, including any defects in performance, operation or functionality of the Promotion will be fixed, corrected or otherwise remedied.

10.2 Promoter liability

Promoter is not liable to User, regardless of the legal grounds, in particular whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or any theory of liability, in or out of the connection with the participation in the Promotion for:
(i) Any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages;
(ii) Any loss of income, business, actual or anticipated profits, opportunity, goodwill or reputation (whether direct or indirect);
(iii) Any damage to and/or corruption or loss of data (whether direct or indirect);
(iv) Any changes, modifications, extensions or limitations (including any suspension of Users) in the Promotion.
(v) Access to Users account and account data or Users registration data) taking part of the Promotion, or any permanent or temporary cessation in the terms or conditions of the Promotions (or any part of them).

In the event that Promoter is liable for a breach of these terms, Promoter liability shall be limited to damages which Promoter must typically expect at the time of the conclusion of this terms due to the circumstances known at the time. Notwithstanding the above, such damages shall not be higher than 100 euros (or equivalent local currency).
Nothing in these terms shall exclude or limit Promoter
a) Liability for death, personal injury or fraud or in accordance with any product liability act; and
b) Warranty or liability for damages or losses which may not be lawfully excluded or limited by applicable law. If the laws in the Users jurisdiction do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, terms or conditions or the limitation or exclusion of liability for loss or damage caused by negligence, breach of contract or breach of implied terms, or incidental or consequential damages, only the limitations which are lawful in that jurisdiction will apply to the Users and Promoter’s liability and warranty will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

10.3 User’s Liability

User is entirely responsible for any breach of the obligations under
(i) These terms; and
(ii) Any applicable law or regulation in the relevant jurisdictions, including the jurisdiction where you are a resident or from where you are participating in the Promotion.
(iii) And for the consequences of any such breach, including any loss or damage which Promoter or any third-party may incur or suffer. Promoter will have no responsibility to User or to any third party in respect of such breach.

11. Legislation and applicable Jurisdiction

Participation in the Promotion will be governed by the Promotion rules, which will be interpreted and applied in accordance with UK law.

The Users have the option of filing claims at a competent court in the country in which they are resident.

The following terms and conditions (hereinafter, the "Terms" or “Rules”) regulate the rules for participating in the Xiaomi global skill competition called “Redmi Note 11 Series Power Jump” (hereinafter the "Competition") which is organized

Participation is voluntary and free of charge, except for internet costs or any other connection costs.

2.ACCEPTANCE OF THE COMPETITION’S RULES

  1. Express consent of Participants By participating in the Competition, you are hereby accepting (i) the Competition’s present Rules as well as (ii) Xiaomi’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, which can be consulted on your local mi.com website.

  2. Third-Party Applicable Policies and Liability Disclaimer

(i) The Participants fully understand and acknowledge that the external social media platforms used in connection with the Competition - including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. DO NOT SPONSOR, ENDORSE OR ADMINISTER THIS COMPETITION AND THAT THEY SHOULD NOT BE ASSOCIATED WITH THE ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT OF THE COMPETITION IN ANY WAY.

(ii) In addition, Participants acknowledge and hereby accept that the applicable terms of use and privacy policies of the above-mentioned external social media platform and/or as any third party associated with the Competition shall also apply, in addition to the present Terms and policies.

3. TERRITORY

The Competition is valid in the UK. (Hereinafter, the “Territory”)

4. PARTICIPANT’S ELIGIBILITY

In order to participate in the Competition, the Participant must have the legal age of the Territory from which he/she participates and have the legal capacity according to the applicable laws of its place of residence.

The Participant must have (i) a personal Mi Account or be validly registered on local Mi.com as well as (ii) a valid personal email address binding with the Participants’ Mi Account, which will be necessary in order to contact the Winners and deliver the Prizes.

Users who do not have a personal Mi Account or are not validly registered on local Mi.com can play the game involved in the Competition, but they are not recognized as eligible Participants in the Competition and cannot win the Prizes in the Competition.

(Hereinafter the “Participant(s)” or “User(s)”).

Upon the Organizer’s request, Participant must be able to demonstrate at any time and, within a reasonable period, that he/she meets the necessary above-mentioned conditions to participate in the Competition.

The Organizer’s employees and/or their family members up to the second degree or any affiliates or company related to the organization or management of the Competition may not participate in the Competition.

Where inaccurate or erroneous data are provided by the Participant, the Organizer reserves the right to reject or disqualify the Participant from the Competition and do so without giving any reasons or notice.

5. TERM

The Competition will start at12:00:00 on Thursday 17th February 2022 (GMT+0) and end at 23:59:59 on 23rd February 2022 (GMT+0) (hereinafter the “Term”).

6. PARTICIPATION MECHANISM

6.1 GENERAL PROVISIONS OF THE COMPETITION

The Competition is an online interactive game (hereinafter the “Game”) based on skill, promoting the Redmi Note 11 Series which is called “Leap forward with Redmi Note” and available through the Competition Page. Participants will have the chance to win the Prizes mentioned in section 7 below.

6.2 HOW TO PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITION

To participate in the Competition, the Participants need to enter on the following Page: https://event.mi.com/uk/redmi-note-11-series-power-jump. Participants can play the Game via their smartphone.

Each play of the Game will be a round (hereinafter, “Round(s)”). When the User fails to successfully jump to the next randomly appearing grid, this Round of the Game ends. If this happens, the Users will have two options: (i) resurrect and continue playing the same Round after completing a designated task; or (ii) restart the Game from the beginning (i.e., the first grid) when he/she fails (start a new Round).

There is no limit to the number of times Users can restart the Game.

Only registered users with Mi IDs can Win prizes, reserve records for regional ranking and gain THE extra life to play A NEW ROUND.

Each Round of the Game has two (2) optional resurrection opportunities. If the User chooses to resurrect, he/she needs to complete the designated task prompted in the Game as described below (tasks might be different depending if it is the first time of resurrection or the second time of resurrection). After the task is completed and the User returns to the Game, the User will resurrect in place to continue the Game. The record will be accumulated based on the record the User had before the current time of resurrection.

The designated tasks Users need to complete to resurrect are:

  1. SECOND OPTION: Start a new Round of the Game

If the User chooses to give up the resurrection option and start a new Round of the Game from the beginning:

During the Competition, only the highest score (per Round) of the registered User Mi ID will be recorded. The score for each Round will not be accumulated and the higher score will automatically overwrite the previous score.

Please note that the score of unregistered users or Users who have not logged in their personal Mi Account will not be recorded.

The ranking will be available on the Competition Page and will display TOP 10 rankings for Participants across the Territory and the highest scores of Participants themselves. If the Participants rank more than 999, they will be shown as No. 999+, their specific ranking will not be shown.

If two or more Participants have obtained the same score, the Participant who obtained the score first in time will be ranked in first place (and so on).

The Organizer shall have the right to reject: (i) Participants whose data are false or incomplete; (ii) Participants who have shown bad faith or have engaged in any malicious, improper, misleading or inappropriate conduct; (iii) Participants who have contravened the Competition Rules, applicable privacy policies and regulations and/or have violated the applicable laws of the Territory in which they reside.

7. PRIZES

The Prizes provided in the Competition are divided into two (2) categories, which are: (i) coupons and (ii) physical prizes.

  1. Coupons There will be ONE (1) type of coupons, coupons to be redeemed on local mi.com Coupons on Xiaomi official website (mi.com): [£10 off when you spend £200 or more, unlimited quantity, and denomination of these coupons is RN10OFF, valid from 24th Feb to 9th March] Coupons are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash in whole or in part.

  2. Physical Prizes There will be a total of 5 Winners of physical prizes on the Territory. Each Winner will receive: Top 1 [Redmi Note 11 4+128GB in Twilight Blue (1 unit), £199] Top 2-5 [Redmi Watch 2 Lite in Black (4 units), £59.99]

The Organizer reserves the right to substitute the Prizes for another of equal value or characteristics, always informing of this circumstance in its means of communication. The Prizes corresponding to this Competition are not redeemable in cash and will be subject, where applicable, to the corresponding taxes and withholdings. The Prizes are personal and non-transferable.

8. HOW TO GET THE PRIZES AND WINNERS OF PHYSICAL PRIZES

8.1. Coupons

All the Participants (Mi ID/Registered Participants) will have the opportunity to get discount coupons by successfully jumping to the grid in the Game. Coupons will automatically appear in the grid while the User is playing.

8.1.1. Coupons to be redeemed on local Xiaomi official website (mi.com)

If the coupons are coupons for use on local Xiaomi official website (mi.com), coupons will be automatically issued to the Participant’s Mi Account:

Coupons will only be issued to users whose Mi IDs are logged in, and cannot be issued to non-logged in users.

8.2. Physical Prizes The winners will be selected based on the ranking of the regional ranking list after the list lockup and which will be announced on https://event.mi.com/uk/redmi-note-11-series-power-jump

Top [5] Participants in the ranking list (hereinafter the “Winners”) will receive the Physical Prizes.

The Organizer will send the coupon for the Prize with £0 cost into Winner’s Mi Account.

The Winners should use the coupon to purchase the corresponding Prize via their Mi Account.

The Physical Prizes will be sent out by the Organizer by post to the delivery address Winner entered in the order, normally it’ll arrive in 3-5 working days after made order.

The physical prizes do not provide specified color specifications, etc., subject to the actual Physical prizes received in the end.

If the physical prizes are not sent or sent incorrectly due to the winners' reasons (such as the receiving information is wrong, etc.), the loss shall be borne by the winners, organizer will not reissue it.

PLEASE BE NOTED THE WINNER SHALL PROVIDE THE ORGANIZER WITH THE ADDRESS LOCATED WITHIN THE TERRITORY AND THE PRIZE SHALL ONLY BE SENT TO THE ADDRESS LOCATED IN THE TERRITORY. THE WINNER WHO ONLY PROVIDES THE ADDRESS OUTSIDE THE TERRITORY WILL LOSE THE ELIGIBILTY TO OBTAIN THE PRIZE.

9. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

By participating in the Competition, Participants authorize the Organizer to reproduce and make available to the public, directly or through its media, the Participant's Mi ID and score in connection with the Competition by any means whatsoever, always in connection with the Competition and/or advertising purposes related to the Competition. The aforementioned authorization, is granted free of charge and shall not entitle Participants to any consideration.

The Participant is fully and solely responsible for the content he/she posts or communicates through the Competition Page. The Organizer shall not be liable for any infringements and/or violations committed by the Participant in connection with this Competition.

10. PERSONAL DATA

Participants in the Competition agree to provide their respective Organizer with the collection of the following personal data:

These data shall be collected and processed by the Organizer to ensure the proper organization and management of the Competition and delivery of the Prize.

The Organizer and its affiliated partner respect the Participant’s privacy and undertake to protect it in accordance with their respective privacy policies and the applicable laws.

Personal data will be kept for the time necessary to guarantee the Participant with the exercise of their rights and actions in relation to the Competition.

By entering the Competition, you hereby consent that the above Personal data will be collected by us. We will collect, use, disclose, process and protect your personal information according to our privacy policy. In the term that Organizer is liable for a breach of these terms, Organizer liability shall be limited to damages which Organizer must typically expect at the time of the conclusion of these Terms due to the circumstances known at the time. Notwithstanding the above, such damages shall not be higher than 100 euros (or equivalent local currency).Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit Organizer:a) Liability for death, personal injury or fraud or in accordance with any product liability act; andb) Warranty or liability for damages or losses which may not be lawfully excluded or limited by applicable law. In the event of force majeure (including but not limited to major disasters, the Competition needs to be suspended or adjusted per instructions of government agencies, large-scale cheating in the Competition, serious cyber attacks on the Competition, or system failures that cause a large number of errors in the participation list of the Competition, such that the Competition cannot be carried out normally), the Organizer has the right to cancel, modify or suspend this Competition.

11.3. PARTICIPANT’s LIABILITY

Participant is entirely responsible for any breach of the obligations under(i) These Terms; and(ii) Any applicable law or regulation in the relevant jurisdictions, including the jurisdiction where you are a resident or from where you are participating in the Competition.(iii) And for the consequences of any such breach, including any loss or damage which Organizer or any third-party may incur or suffer. Organizer will have no responsibility to Participant or to any third party in respect of such breach.

12. Export Control

Upon participating the Competition, the Participant understands and agrees that:

The Competition and the functions, services and goods provided through the Competition are subject to the export controls and economic sanctions laws of multiple jurisdictions containing restrictions on destination, end user and end use, including but not limited to: (1) not to use of any functions, service or goods for any activities related to military end uses, support of terrorism, nuclear facilities, chemical or biological weapons, missiles, weapons of mass destruction, etc.; (2) comply with all export, re-export and resale restrictions applicable to the goods.

If Participant's use of the functions and services being provided through the Competition violates, or in our reasonable opinion may violate, the requirements and restrictions of relevant laws, resulting in a compliance risk or adverse impact on the Competition, functions and services and supply of goods, the Organizer reserves the right to suspend, restrict or terminate the provisions of all or part of the goods and services.

13. LEGISLATION AND APPLICABLE JURISDICTION

Participation in the Competition will be governed by the Terms, which will be interpreted and applied in accordance with the laws of the Organizer. The Participant have the option of filing claims at a competent court in the country in which they are resident.

14. GENERAL

The Participant acknowledges that the general terms and conditions of sale described on the www.mi.com will remain applicable to the Competition. In the event of a contradiction between these Terms and Conditions and the general terms and conditions of sale described on www.mi.com, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
