TV Stand and Wall Mount Installation Service
1.Scope of Service
This document outlines the Terms and Conditions ("Terms") applicable to the TV Stand and Wall Mount Installation Service (“Service”) provided by XIAOMI ELECTRONICS PTE. LTD. ("Xiaomi") and its third-party Service Provider ("Service Provider"). The Service is available to residents of Singapore aged 18 years and above, being a consumer who has purchased a qualifying Xiaomi TV product - Xiaomi TV 43 inches and above ("Products") directly from mi.com/sg and have purchased this additional installation service on mi.com/sg, starting from 20 January 2025.
By opting for this Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. The service is an additional, optional service available only in Singapore, and these Terms may vary from time to time.
2.Service Provider
Xiaomi will deliver the Service in collaboration with an authorized Service Provider. Upon scheduling, the Service Provider's personnel will perform the Service at the consumer's location. All installations will comply the manufacturer’s current instructions provided with the Products.
3.Appointment Scheduling
3.1 Xiaomi will notify the Service Provider to contact you for the installation via phone or text message.
3.2 The installation will be performed at your requested delivery location.
3.3 The Service will be carried out with the delivery at the agreed time between the Service Provider and you.
3.4 For the wall mount installation services, the Service Provider will contact you to coordinate for the installation, along with the delivery of the Product and bracket.
4.Service Times
The Service is available exclusively from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm GMT+08:00, excluding public holidays. An adult aged 18 or over must be present during the Service. If an adult aged 18 or over is not present during the Service, Xiaomi or the Service Provider have the right to refuse to provide the Service to you.
5.Eligibility
5.1 This Service is only applicable to the Products in Clause 1 of these Terms which are purchased through mi.com/sg .
5.2 The Service is only available with the use of a designated wall mount bracket provided by Xiaomi. This Service does not include the installation of any other third-party TV stand or wall mount bracket purchased by you and will not be installed by Xiaomi or the Service Provider.
6.Service Charges
6.1 Service Charges: The fees for the Services are detailed as below.
6.2 Wall Mount Bracket:
The cost of the wall mount bracket required for the wall mount installation is included in the TV wall mount installation fee and will not be charged separately.

7.What does the Installation Includes and not Include and what needs to be prepared in advance
7.1 TV Stand Installation
Scope of services: -
Unbox the your newly purchased TV and assemble it for placement on the tabletop.
Insert the power plug of the TV into the power outlet and check to ensure that the TV is operating properly.
Demonstrate basic TV functions.
Clean up debris, and pack the box.
If requested, to dispose of your old TV unit.
Excluded services: -
• Wall-mounting of the TV.
7.2 TV Wall Mount Installation
Scope of services: -
Inclusive of the TV stand installation as set out in Clause 7.1 of these Terms.
Inspection of the condition of the wall.
Inspection for power and water lines with a dedicated line locator device.
Selection of the attachment material based on the building material of the wall.
Marking as well as vertical and horizontal preparation of the drill holes using a spirit level and drilling template.
Mounting the TV wall mount and attaching the unit to the TV wall mount.
Connection to the mains ready for operation.
Connection of the connection cables to the device before attaching the device to the wall mount if the connection sockets are not accessible anymore thereafter.
Stow the cables in cable hoses (if available).
Compliance with all technical instructions and assembly instructions of the TV set.
Service prerequisites
• TV and the wall mount bracket purchased on mi.com
Excluded services
• Repainting of concealed location.
• Placing in-wall cables .
• Construction of cable grommets on furniture.
• Other connections or connections to external terminal devices.
• Attachment to single-shell plasterboard walls/thickness 9 - 12.5 mm (in this case, the attachment must reach through the structure to the corresponding substructure: If a secure attachment is not possible, installation is only possible after structural preparation by the you).
• Ceiling mounting.
• Wall mounting on tiled / reinforced-concrete walls.
• Wall mounting for Wallpaper TV.
7.3 Please note that the Service is typically completed in one visit. In cases where additional visits are required, the Service Provider will coordinate with you directly. Additional fees may apply for any subsequent visits.
8.Cancellation & Rescheduling
You may cancel or reschedule the Service no later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment. Failure to do so may result in cancellation fees. You may reschedule the Service by contacting Xiaomi Customer Service at 8008528474 (MON-FRI 9 am - 6 pm) or via email at service.sg@support.mi.com. Alternatively, you may contact the Service Provider directly at 68482118. For cancellation, please contact Xiaomi Customer Service at 8008528474 (MON-FRI 9 am - 6 pm) or via email at service.sg@support.mi.com. If you decide that you only require delivery of the Product without any installation, you may refuse the installation service on site.
9.Unforeseen circumstances
If the Service cannot be performed due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the control of Xiaomi or the Service Provider, Xiaomi or the Service Provider may, at its sole discretion, decide to postpone or cancel the Service. Xiaomi and the Service Provider shall not be liable for any delay or failure to fulfill obligations caused by circumstances beyond their control.
10.Consumer’s Responsibilities
You are responsible for the following:
Ensuring that the installation site and environment meet all legal requirements and technical standards;
Clearing the area for service and ensuring adequate access; and
Providing a safe and appropriate working environment.
11.Liability Limitations
11.1 Xiaomi is not responsible for:
Incorrect information provided by you;
Inadequate preparation of the installation site;
Missing or defective connections or accessories required for service;
Inaccessibility of the installation site or refusal of access (including e.g. non-functioning doorbells);
Failure to agree on a new service appointment, if required; or
Xiaomi's liability is limited to the actual damage. Under no circumstances will Xiaomi be liable for loss of profit or consequential damages unless required by law.
11.2 You agree to indemnify and hold Xiaomi, their group of companies, their officers, directors, shareholders, predecessors, successors in title, employees, agents and representatives harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liability, claims or expenses (including any legal fees), suffered or incurred by Xiaomi (whether directly or indirectly) due to or in any way arising from this Services which are caused by you.
12. Feedback Collection & Customer Correspondence
Xiaomi may contact the consumer for feedback using the personal information provided. Records of such correspondence will be retained for service improvement purposes. To collect the feedback you have, after contacting our customer service, our agents will ask you whether you are willing to take a call to give us your opinion regarding our Services. Your feedback will be used for problem-solving and service improvement purposes. Please note, that this call will be carried out exclusively upon your acceptance. Otherwise, rest assured our agents will not contact you to collect your opinion.
13. Data Protection
12.1 Data Protection: Your personal data will be processed to facilitate this Service. Xiaomi will share your basic and contact personal information such as name, address or phone number with the Service Provider which will carry out the installation. Please note that the Service Provider will process your personal information on its own and will proceed with the installation using its own personnel. By providing the personal data, you indicates that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by the Privacy Policy stated at https://www.mi.com/sg/about/privacy/ , you agree that Xiaomi and/or its agent and/or its third-party service providers may contact you by telephone, email or such other method in connection with the Services.
12.2 Purpose of processing: You agree and provide your consent to Xiaomi to the use of any Personal Data as provided by you for the purpose of carrying out the Services in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012, to the extent that any personal data provided shall only be processed and be used by Xiaomi for lawful purpose directly related to the Services. Your personal information will be processed for the purposes of managing your appointment and to complete the Service as requested. It will be also processed to collect your feedback regarding the Service. 12.3 Legal basis for processing: Necessary for the performance of a contract and the legitimate interest Xiaomi has in solving any problem and improving the quality of the Services by knowing the opinions you have regarding the quality of the Services. 13.4 Further information: Refer to our Privacy Policy here https://www.mi.com/sg/about/privacy/ .
14.Filing a Complaint
If you are unsatisfied with the Service or wish to file a complaint, please contact Xiaomi Customer Service at 8008528474 (MONDAY - FRIDAY from 9 am - 6 pm) or via email at service.sg@support.mi.com. Complaints will be addressed following Xiaomi’s complaint resolution procedures and Xiaomi will make reasonable efforts to resolve the issue promptly.
15. Final Provisons
15.1 These Terms constitute the sole document governing the Service.
15.2 Xiaomi reserves the rights to modify and/or cancel any of the stated Terms at any time without notice. You are encouraged to check from time to time to view any amendments and/or changes made to the stated Terms.
15.3 The Terms of this Services shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore
