TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. ACTIVITY AND ORGANIZER
The following terms and conditions (hereinafter, the "Terms") regulate the rules for participating the MI.COM BIRTHDAY EXCLUSIVE COUPON BENEFIT (“Activity”) is organized by Xiaomi Electronics Pte Ltd with its registered office at 1 Fusionopolis Link #04-02/03 Nexus @ One-North Singapore (138542) (“Organiser” and/or "Xiaomi").
2. START DATE
The Activity will start from 10:00 am on 1st December 2024 and Organiser reserves the rights to shorten or extend the Activity at any time without notice to Participant.
3. TERRITORY
This Activity is only valid in the territory of Singapore (hereinafter, the “Territory”).
4. PARTICIPANT’S ELIGIBILITY
The birthday exclusive coupons are only available for the registered users of mi.com/sg and in order to participate in the Activity, you must have the legal age of the Territory and have the legal capacity according to the applicable law of your place of residence (hereinafter, the “Participant(s)” or “You”).
5. ACTIVITY MECHANISM
(a) In order for the Participant to obtain the mi.com birthday exclusive coupons, each Participant shall be required to complete the registration of their mi.com account via mi.com/sg and to fill in the birthday information under the mi.com account.
(b) In the event the Participant does not provide their birthday information under your mi.com account, the birthday exclusive coupon shall not be issued to the Participant.
(c) Each Participant shall be responsible for the accuracy of the details in regard to their birthday information submitted as any error may not be easily modified and the Organiser shall not be responsible for any inaccuracy.
(d) The path to fill in your birthday information is as follows:

6. Description and using rules about the birthday exclusive coupon
(a) The birthday exclusive coupon offers a 10% discount and can be used to purchase any product on mi.com/sg, except for newly launched product
(b) The maximum discount for the birthday exclusive coupon is capped at SGD 40 per order. Please note that this coupon cannot be combined with other coupons, as determined by Xiaomi from time to time. The 10% discount applies only to the product price and does not include shipping fees.
(c) The birthday exclusive coupon is issued once per person per calendar year. It is valid only during your birthday month and will be sent to you on the first day of that month. Any coupon not redeemed by the expiry date will automatically be forfeited and cease to have any effect.
(d) If a user enters their birthday information within their birthday month (including the 1st of the month), the birthday exclusive coupon will not be issued for that month.
[Example]:
• If User A's birthday is 6th of April, the coupon will be sent to User A's account on 1st of April, and the coupon will be valid from 1st of April to 30th of April.
• User A's birthday is 6th of April, If User A fills in the birthday information on or after 1st of April, User A will not be eligible to receive the birthday exclusive coupon for that month and shall be eligible in the following year. However, if User A fill in the birthday information on 31st of March, User A will receive a birthday coupon on 1st of April.
(e) The birthday exclusive coupon described in section 6(a) above cannot be used in combination with other coupons. It can only be used once (e.g. if you purchase a product and use the coupon and then return the product, the coupon is void and only the actual amount paid will be refunded). The coupon is personal and non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash equivalents.
(f) Participants can also check the relevant information and using rules of the coupon in the coupon center.

(g) You can decide whether to use the birthday exclusive coupon at your own discretion.
7. Issuance notice of the birthday exclusive coupon
(a) After the birthday exclusive coupon is issued to your mi.com account, you will be notified via a Mi Store App push message.
(b) In order to receive the notification, please make sure that the Mi Store App has been installed in your mobile phone and the push message notification reminder has not been turned off. In case push notification are disabled, you can still find the coupon in your Mi Account at the end of the month prior to the month of your birthday. The path to find the coupon is as follows:

9. ACCEPTANCE OF THE ACTIVITY’S TERMS
By participating in this Activity, you are hereby accepting (i) the present Terms as well as (ii) Xiaomi’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy of mi.com/sg which can be consulted on mi.com/sg websites.
10. PERSONAL DATA
(a) We take your privacy very seriously, and we are committed to keeping your personal information well safe and secure. We undertake to protect your personal information in accordance with all our privacy policies and the applicable laws.
(b) For the present Activity, we will collect your birthday information with your full consent.
(c) Before participating in this Activity, please read the present Terms and our Privacy Policy https://www.mi.com/sg/about/privacy/ carefully. When you decide to participate in this Activity, it means that you agree to provide your birthday information to us and accept the present Terms and our Privacy Policy.
(d) Your birthday information will only be used to issue the birthday exclusive coupons to you. We will carefully protect your birthday information and it will not be used for any other purposes. Your birthday information will be kept for the time necessary to guarantee you with the exercise of your rights and actions in relation to the Activity.
(e) By providing the personal data, Participant indicates that he/she have read, understood and agreed to be bound by the Privacy Policy stated at https://www.mi.com/sg/about/privacy/. The Participant agrees that Organiser and/or Xiaomi and/or its agent and/or its third-party service providers may contact them by telephone, email or such other method in connection with this Activity.
(f) Participant agrees and provides consent to the Organiser and/or Xiaomi to the use of any Personal Data as provided by the Participant for the purpose of participation in this Activity in line with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012, to the extent that any personal data provided shall only be processed and be used by Organiser and/or Xiaomi for lawful purpose directly related to the running of this Activity including but not limited to the purposes of promotional events, advertising, marketing and any administrative matters to facilitate the management and organizing of this Activity.

11. MISCELLANEOUS
(a) The present Terms will be published on mi.com/sg and in any other way it deems appropriate to inform the Participant.
(b) In the event any coupon are being awarded to the Participant having provided false or mistaken identity or information, Organiser shall have the right to revoke the Participant’s eligibility for the said coupon.
(c) Participants shall accept the prizes, gifts or coupons under this Activity as they are. Organiser makes no representation, warranty or undertaking as to any implied terms and conditions with respect to the prizes, gifts or coupons under this Activity. Organiser assumes no liability or responsibility in respect to defect or deficiency of the prizes, gifts or coupons or the nature/consumption of the prizes, gifts or coupons and will not entertain any direct correspondence with anyone in this regard.
(d) Organiser shall not be responsible for any losses or damages directly or indirectly incurred by any party including the Participant in connection or arising from acts or omissions or in any way related to this Activity or to the nature/consumption of the prizes, gifts or coupons.
(e) The Participant agrees to discharge and release Organiser and/or Xiaomi from any liabilities and claims (including from breach of contract, tort, negligence or any other cause of actions at law or equity) arising out of or in any way connected to this Activity or to the Participant’s entry in this Activity or to the nature/consumption of the prizes, gifts or coupons.
(f) The Participant further agrees to discharge and release any third party which is related to and connected with this Activity from any liabilities and claims (including from breach of contract, tort, negligence or any other cause of actions at law or equity) arising out of or in any way connected to this Activity or to the Participant’s entry in this Activity or to the nature/consumption of the prizes, gifts or coupons.
(g) By entering into this Activity, the Participant agrees to indemnify and hold Organiser and/or Xiaomi, their group of companies, their officers, directors, shareholders, predecessors, successors in title, employees, agents and representatives harmless from any claims, losses, damages, liability, claims or expenses (including any legal fees), suffered or incurred by Organiser and/or Xiaomi due to or in any way arising from this Activity.
(h) If Participants are discovered to be using or have used improper means to participate in this Activity, Organiser reserves the right to cancel the eligibility without notice including without hesitation, the commencement of legal proceedings under full extent of applicable laws.
(i) You acknowledge that the general terms and conditions on mi.com/sg still apply. In the event of any conflict between the present Terms and the general terms described on mi.com/sg, the present Terms shall prevail.
(j) The Organizer reserves the right to (partially) modify or cancel the Activity for technical, operational or commercial reasons, in which case the Organizer will publish this modification together with the Terms on mi.com. Modification or cancellation have no effect on already issued coupons.
(k) The Terms of this Activity shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
