What to do if the brushes on the Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20+ are tangled?

The Xiaomi Robot Vacuum X20+ has a main brush and a side brush to effectively sweep and collect debris. If either of the brushes becomes tangled with hair, threads, or other debris, cleaning performance can be reduced or the device will trigger an error.
If the brushes on the robot vacuum are tangled, please refer to the following steps to troubleshoot:
1. Turn the robot vacuum over, remove and inspect the brushes for hair or debris, cut away any tangles carefully, then reinstall them and clean regularly, especially if you have pets or long hair;
2. Remove loose items from the floor, such as toys, cables, and cloth, before starting a cleaning task to reduce the risk of tangling or blockage;
3. Use the Xiaomi Home App to set restricted areas or virtual walls, especially around cluttered zones or areas with many wires, to help the robot vacuum avoid getting stuck.
Note:
1. It is recommended to clean the main brush every 2 weeks and replace it every 6-12 months to ensure cleaning efficiency;
2. It is recommended to clean the side brush monthly and replace it every 3-6 months.
