Solution:
Link Xiaomi Device with Amazon Alexa
After your device is connected to your Xiaomi Home app, to use Xiaomi Smart devices with Alexa, you need to enable Xiaomi Home skill in the Alexa app and then link your Xiaomi account to Alexa.
1. From the menu, select Skills.
2. Browse or enter search keywords “Xiaomi Home” to find the skill for your device, then select Enable. Use the “Xiaomi Home” skill for your device, to whichever server your device connects.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the linking process.
4. Ask Alexa to discover your device. Say, “Discover my devices,” or select Add Device in the Smart Home section of the Alexa app.
Link Amazon Echo with Amazon Alexa
1. Plug in your Echo. When the light ring turns blue, the power is connected correctly. Then, wait for it to turn orange, and you’ll hear Alexa’s voice telling you the device is ready for setup.
2. Connect the Echo to Wi-Fi via Alexa app. Follow the on-screen instructions.
3. Start talking to your Echo by saying the default wake word, or change the wake word by telling Echo, “Alexa, change the wake word.”
4. Start using Echo to control your Xiaomi devices.
