Function Description.
Long-term use of the phone's background occupies more and more memory and may face the problem of insufficient memory, which affects the user's experience. In order to increase the amount of memory available to the system and improve the user experience, we have implemented an external RAM function based on the Linux kernel's native ZRAM.
To enable this option: Settings>Additional settings>>Memory extension, turn it on (see picture).
To enable this option you need 10% of the total space left; for example, if the user has 256G of RAM on their phone, they will need more than 25.6G to enable it.
This option will increase the amount of RAM available, but it will not be displayed in the background task management screen, it will improve the RAM experience in use but the value in the task management screen will remain the same.
The above example is for adding 1GB RAM, but different memory specification models offer different memory sizes, as follows:|
