If the computer cannot recognize the phone after connecting via a data cable, please refer to the following information:
1. The Mac cannot directly connect to the Android phone to transfer data through the data cable.
2. After connecting your phone to the computer, select the file transfer option on your phone to access its folders from the computer.
3. Try using a different data cable or USB port to see if a connection can be established.
4. Xiaomi phones currently use the MTP protocol for file transfers, and on Windows systems, MTP support is handled by Windows Media Player. Please check whether your computer is running Windows Media Player version 10 or higher; if not, try a different computer or upgrade the application to a newer version.
5. Try closing any third-party security or utility software on your computer; such software may disable certain system functions, preventing the computer from directly accessing your phone's storage.
