How to turn on OTG？
To reduce power consumption,MIUI version add OTG function.
How to set: Settings >>More settings>>OTG>>OTG switch.This switch is turned off by default.. If the OTG function is not used for 10 minutes, the switch will be automatically turned off. OTG switch is cancelled from MIUI11 version and later version in the future, and OTG function can be used directly.
Function Introduction:
The full name of OTG is On-The-Go. Through The OTG adapter and OTG cable, The Micro-USB or USB Type-C interface of the device can be converted into the standard USB Type-A port, allowing most devices with the standard USB interface to be connected and used.
Mainly used for the connection between various devices,such as mobile phone, MP4 and other devices through OTG to connect U disk, mobile hard disk, keyboard, mouse and so on.
Method of use:
Insert the Micro-USB port of OTG into the mobile phone, then insert the U disk into the other end of the OTG data cable,and phone can read the contents of the U disk.
Application Introduction:
The following are some common OTG connection modes at present:
1、The mobile phone connects U disk, mobile hard disk and other storage devices through OTG to facilitate the data viewing of storage devices without computers when going out.
2、Pad,mobile phone and other operating devices can be connected with mouse, gamepad and keyboard light through OTG, which can bring extremely innovative experience for enthusiasts.
3、Pad, Mi box, MP4 and other playback devices connect U disk, mobile hard disk and other storage devices through OTG. Due to limited capacity of playback devices, OTG function is equivalent to unlimited increase of storage capacity of playback devices, which is very practical in daily use.

Notes:
1、The standard OTG output current is 500mA (such as the Micro-USB interface of mobile phone and Mipad), which can meet the power supply demand of most USB devices;
2、The maximum OTG output current of Mi box is 800mA, which can meet the power supply demand of most storage devices such as U disk and mobile hard disk.
3、Since the actual effect is to convert to standard USB interface and use USB data channel, the functions of non-USB interface, such as video output and projection, cannot be used.
Similarly, if the connected device uses a non-standard USB protocol or requires a separate driver installation, it may also have problems that cannot be used due to the system's unsupport, such as USB interface hand-drawn board, camera, printer, etc.The specific support needs to be determined according to the support of the system.
