What is Root permission?

Introduction:
Root permissions related knowledge is under for learning purposes. Turn on root permissions may bring security risks, even affect the stability of the system. In any case it is not suggested to obtain root permissions.
Root exists in Unix, Linux and android systems, and root refers to super users. Root is the only super user in the system, with all the permissions in the system, such as: start or stop a process, delete or increase users, add or disable hardware, modify software permissions, block advertising and so on.
Root permissions are equivalent to system administrator privileges in windows systems, but root permissions are more powerful than windows system administrator privileges. MIUI V5, MIUI6 and MIUI TV systems are developed based on deep customization of android systems. Android is fundamentally developed based on Linux kernel plus C and java and other languages, so obtaining Root permissions is equivalent to opening super administrator permissions from the bottom to users to increase system risk. If the software acquires Root permission, it can do anything on the system software, thus increasing the probability of system crash and hardware damage.
Note:
Mi phone system is divided into development version and stable version (some models are not developed version). Root permissions have switches in the development version of the mobile phone system that can be used by any user in need. The stable version does not open root permissions.
In general, we do not recommend that users open root permissions. At present, many software can forcibly obtain root permissions, but opening root permissions may bring some security risks, or even affect the stability of the system. We do not recommend users to obtain root permissions through third-party apps.
