Solution:
Mi TV uses two HDCP protocols: HDCP2.2 and HDCP1.2.
Some TV models is lower than HDMI2.0 standard. It uses HDCP1.2 protocol;
Higher than or equal to the HDMI2.0 standard uses HDCP2.2 or HDCP1.2;
The above two cases refer to the HDCP protocol adopted when an output device connects a TV via HDMI cable. If data is transmitted to a TV via WiDi or Miracast, the HDCP2.2 protocol is adopted.
Notes:
HDCP is a high bandwidth digital content protection technology. HDMI is a high definition digital interface standard that provides high bandwidth for nondestructive transmission of digital video and audio signals. HDCP technology comes into being to ensure that high-definition signals transmitted by HDMI or DVI are not illegally recorded.
