Function Introduction:
MI phones fingerprint feature needs to be awoken to unlock the phone, but it doesn't necessarily need to light up the entire screen.In order to facilitate daily use, the fingerprint identification area of the screen will wait for the input and detection of fingerprints even in the state of lock screen. By pressing the fingerprint in the state of rest screen, the screen can be awakened and the system can be unlocked directly.
Notes:
Note 1: Use screen fingerprint identification requires the screen fingerprint sensor need to be in a state of waiting for identification, at which time the fingerprint pattern is displayed in the fingerprint identification area on the screen.
For example, after the lock screen of the phone enters the AOD display state, in order to ensure quick unlock, the fingerprint sensor on the screen is still in the state of waiting for recognition, and the fingerprint pattern area can be unlocked immediately by pressing the finger.
In addition, in order to ensure that the screen fingerprint function is always available, even if AOD is not enabled, the fingerprint pattern will still be displayed on the lock screen, and the fingerprint identification function can still be used normally.
Note 2: In order to further optimize power control, if the phone is left standing after locking the screen for more than 20 seconds, the fingerprint identification area on the screen will be temporarily closed, and the fingerprint identification pattern will not appear on the screen.
At this point, gently touching the phone or moving the phone can put the fingerprint identification area on the screen back in the state of waiting for identification, and unlock the phone through fingerprint identification.
Note 3: If the screen is currently on eye care mode, the screen briefly turn off eye care mode and turn on eye care mode again the moment using screen fingerprint to unlock the screen.
This is because the eye-protection mode will properly adjust the brightness and color temperature of the screen, and the screen fingerprint sensor needs active screen light to illuminate the finger fingerprint, so as to reflect enough light to the screen fingerprint sensor, to meet the needs of the screen fingerprint sensor fingerprint recognition.
At present, mobile phones using screen fingerprint scheme all adopt this design, which is a normal phenomenon and does not affect the use.
