1. We take your privacy very seriously, and we are committed to keeping your personal information secure. We will strictly comply with all applicable laws and protect your personal data accordingly.
2. Subject to applicable laws, when it is necessary for providing you with our after-sales services, we may share your personal data with Xiaomi entities or our third-party service providers outside the country you are residing. Where the overseas laws may not protect personal data at the same standards as in the country you are residing, we will use standard contractual clauses or other safeguards to protect your personal data at the standards required under local laws.

You may exercise any of your privacy rights or obtain further information on our data handling practices, by contacting us via the contact details in our Privacy Policy. We will be happy to hear from you.

Terms of Service
1. Xiaomi H.K. Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Xiaomi”) service centers (including authorized service centers and collection points) provide customers warranty service in accordance with the local regulations and relevant laws.
2. We now support the application of mail-in repair service for mobile phone and pad on https://www.mi.com/ae-en/support. If other type of products needed repair, please contact authorized Xiaomi service centers (https://www.mi.com/ae-en/support/service-centre) or Xiaomi Customer Service on (800) 03 20 664 (Monday-Friday: 9am-6pm) for help.
3. After successful application of mail-in repair service for your mobile phone/pad, authorized Xiaomi service center will send you the waybill of the logistics service provider, namely Aramex PJSC (“Aramex”) within three (3) business days. Please drop-off the mobile phone/pad at the nearest Aramex office (for further information, visit https://www.aramex.com/ae/en/find-aramex-office). You can track the repair progress on https://www.mi.com/ae-en/support/service-progress/ by enter the IMEI/SN or the service order number.
4. To prevent any damage during transit, please wrap your device with at least 3 layers of bubble wrap to suspend it in the box. The warranty will be void and repair charges will apply if any physical damage is found upon the service center receiving the parcel. To prevent losing accessories, only return Product itself for repair if the defect or flaw claim is related to Product itself alone (and not its accessories). Xiaomi shall not be liable for such accessory loss claims.
5. Before returning any unit for service, it is your responsibility to backup any data, software, or other materials you may have stored or preserved on the product. You also need to sign out of your Xiaomi Mi account, Google account and other personnel accounts on the Product(s) such as Xiaomi phones/pads. If your Product(s) is a product that can be connected to other devices belonging to you, please make sure to disconnect the Product(s) from your devices before returning the Product(s). Xiaomi may conduct diagnostic tests on your products to identify the causes of failures/defects. It is likely that such data, software, or other materials will be lost or reformatted during service, and Xiaomi will not be responsible for any such damage or loss.
6. For any warranty request, you must provide basic information (e.g. IMEI or serial number, original invoice, malfunction description, customer information including name, contact details, address, etc.) and send it along with the mobile phone/pad to Xiaomi service center for further verification. If this information is not provided, is incomplete or is intentionally made illegible, Xiaomi service center reserves the right to refuse warranty service.
7. If there is no special statement, Xiaomi authorized service center will adopt including but not limited to software recovery and hardware disassembly inspection to your Xiaomi product.
8. For liquid damage, appearance damage, unauthorized hardware and software changes, natural disasters, other human factors, and other non-product quality issues that are not covered by the Limited Warranty Policy (for further information, visit https://www.mi.com/ae-en/support/warranty), the service center reserves the right to use the materials specified by Xiaomi. The price charges include basic labor costs and material costs. The final quotation after inspection, i.e. the invoice amount from authorized Xiaomi service center shall be binding.
9. For the above-mentioned products that are not covered by the Limited Warranty Policy (for further information, visit https://www.mi.com/ae-en/support/warranty), and if the authorized service center confirms that it cannot be repaired or after repaired instability may still occur, authorized Xiaomi service center will explain in advance, and unfortunately it may not revert to the condition before repair.
10. For those no trouble found and software update only, they are not counted as valid repair records.
11. After repair finished, Xiaomi service center will send the mobile phone/pad to your original shipping address. If the address or other information changes, please inform the Xiaomi Customer Service (800) 03 20 664 (Monday to Friday 9:00-18:00) or via email service.ae@support.mi.com in time. Xiaomi is not responsible for the loss of the device due to the change of information. If you have not responded or collected repaired devices after one month since authorized Xiaomi Service center notification (called), authorized Xiaomi service center is not responsible to keep devices on behalf of you.
12. To ensure service quality and legal rights, Xiaomi service center will collect user information properly and will protect personal data according to relevant laws and regulations and Xiaomi’s “Privacy Policy” https://www.mi.com/ae-en/support/policy/privacy/.
13. Xiaomi reserves the right to modify these terms of service at any time that enters into force once published.
