The precautions for configuring Home surveillance on the Xiaomi Smart Camera Camera C500 Dual are listed below:
1. You need to enable the respective detected items in [AI settings], and when the trigger conditions are met, the function of Home surveillance will record event videos;
2. Home surveillance time period: You can configure all-day surveillance and periodical surveillance;
3. Sensitivity of area: You can select from high sensitivity and low sensitivity;
4. Push notification intervals: You can select the intervals from 3 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes and 30 minutes (you can only select from the default intervals and cannot customize the intervals. The shortest interval is 3 minutes to avoid frequent push notifications);
5. Event notification type: You need to enable the items in [AI settings] initially. Besides, only the trigger conditions are met can the notification push. Event notification types include [Person detected], [Someone enters the fenced area], [Someone leaves the fenced area], [Baby is crying], [Pet detected], [Motion detected] and [From smart scene trigger]. You will not receive a notification when you disable the options below [Event notification type]. If you need to check the event, please go to Home surveillance;
6. There are no push notifications and event videos in Home surveillance if there are no respective detection items in [AI settings];
7. The respective event notification type of the AI settings is listed below:

1. When [Home surveillance] is enabled, 9-second videos will be recorded and saved in the Xiaomi Home Secure. Videos in Home surveillance will be covered in a cycle of 7 days;
2. Apart from Human detection, other detection types in [AI settings] are disabled by default and need to be enabled manually;
3. The videos in Home surveillance cannot be deleted in batches;
4. You can also use Home surveillance without using a MicroSD card and the Xiaomi Home Secure.
