Terms of Service
1. Xiaomi H.K. Limited (hereinafter referred to as “Xiaomi”) encompasses authorized service centers (“Authorized Service Center”) provide you after-sale service in accordance with the applicable regulations and relevant laws.
2. We now support the application of mail-in repair service for mobile phone and pad (“Your Device”) on https://www.mi.com/sa-en/support/aftersales/apply/ . If other type of products needs repair service, please contact the Seller for help.
3. Upon submission of a Mail-In Repair Service request, Xiaomi’s Customer Service Team shall send an acknowledgment email within two (2) business days, containing a shipping label and precautionary instructions. The shipping label shall be valid for ten (10) days from the date of receipt. The Customer must print and affix the label to the package containing the defective device and coordinate with the designated logistics partner for collection or drop-off at the nearest authorized point. If the device is determined to be out of warranty, whether before shipment or after technical diagnosis, the Customer shall bear the two-way (round-trip) shipping cost along with any applicable repair charges. The total payable amount will be communicated via call or WhatsApp.
4. Before sending Your Device for repair, please make sure that your data is backed up and your Xiaomi account and other private account are logged out. In addition, please ensure to back up any confidential, proprietary or personal information and deactivate all security passwords and remove the SIM card. It is recommended to delete the data stored on the concerned product after the back-up. The service center is not responsible for the possible loss of data due to repair.
5. For any warranty request, you shall provide basic information (including but not limit to order number, original invoice, purchase order, etc.) and send it along with the product to Authorized Service Center for further verification. If this information is not provided, incomplete or intentionally made illegible, Authorized Service Center reserves the right to refuse warranty service.
6. Unless explicitly specified by Xiaomi, Xiaomi authorized service center will adopt measures including but not limited to software recovery and hardware disassembly inspection to your Xiaomi product.
7. For liquid damage, appearance damage, unauthorized hardware and software changes, natural disasters, other human factors, and other non-product quality issues that are not covered by the Limited Warranty Policy (https://www.mi.com/sa-en/support/warranty/), the Authorized Service Center reserves the right to use the materials specified by Xiaomi. If the product to be repaired falls in the out of warranty scenarios, the authorized service center will inform the price and the payment method of each item in the quotation call or WhatsApp, the associated charges will encompass fundamental labor expenses, material costs and round trip(2-way) shipping costs. You can refer to https://www.mi.com/sa-en/support/spare-parts-price/ to get the estimated price of the related material costs. The definitive quotation post-inspection, denoted as the invoice total issued by the Authorized Service Center, will be legally binding. In case of an out-of-warranty repair request, if you reject the quotation, the inspection fee and the round trip (2-way) shipping costs will still need to be paid by you, after which Your Device will be sent back to you. If the package is lost, please contact Xiaomi Customer Service or the authorized service center for help.
8. For the above-mentioned products that are not covered by the Limited Warranty Policy (https://www.mi.com/sa-en/support/warranty/), and if the service center confirms that it cannot be repaired or after repaired instability may still occur, Authorized Service Center will explain the potential outcomes (including but not limited to, the product may not revert to the condition before repair) in advance and you may decide at your sole discretion whether to continue with the repair.
9. For those in-warranty cases where no trouble is found or only software update is needed, they are not counted as valid repair records.
10. When the repair is finished, Authorized Service Center will send Your Device to your original shipping address. If the address or other information changes, please inform the service center in a timely manner. Since the incorrect shipping address and information may result in a failure in sending the device back to you, please make sure that you submitted a correct and valid shipping address and accurate contact information. Xiaomi is not responsible for the loss of the device due to the change of information and customer’s lack of timely notice to Xiaomi and its service center.
11. To ensure service quality and legal rights, Authorized Service Center will collect user information properly and will protect personal data according to applicable laws and regulations and Xiaomi’s “Privacy Policy” https://www.mi.com/sa-en/support/policy/privacy/.
12. Xiaomi reserves the right to modify these terms of service at its sole discretion at any time.
