Xiaomi 17/Xiaomi 17 Ultra/ The Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi – VIP SERVICES TERMS AND CONDITION

This offer is in addition to the consumer rights granted by the statutory guarantee, according to the terms and conditions published on: https://www.mi.com/sa/support/warranty/.

1. SCOPE OF APPLICATION AND BENEFICIARIES

This offer is limited to selected Xiaomi smartphones (only applicable to the following specific models: Xiaomi 17/Xiaomi 17 Ultra/ The Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi) (hereinafter the “Product(s)”) purchased through any Xiaomi official sales channels (online or offline) and activated in the Territory of Saudi Arabia hereinafter the “Territory”). This offer is provided by Xiaomi Smart Co. Limited registered at 7421 King Fahad Road Al Olaya District Unit 1141 Riyadh 12212 – 3143  (hereinafter “Xiaomi” or “we”).

Only consumers that have purchased and activated the aforementioned Products are eligible to benefit from this offer (hereinafter “Beneficiaries” or “you”) at the conditions described below.  


2. SERVICES

This offer will include the following additional services:

i. One free screen replacement within 6 months (please refer to point 4.1.);

ii. Xiaomi 17Ultra Xiaomi Smartphone International Warranty Service (please refer to point 4.2);

iii. A one-time replacement right within the warranty period (please refer to point 4.3);

iv.Out-of-warranty repair with free labor costs within warranty period

(hereinafter, “Services”) (please refer to point 4.4);

v.   3-month trial of Google AI Pro at no cost (please refer to point4.5)

3.    PERIOD OF THE SERVICES

-One free screen replacement within 6 months: six (6) months from the date of first purchase of the Product by end user. The purchase date must be before  (2027/3/15).

- Xiaomi 17 Ultra Xiaomi Smartphone International Warranty Service: twenty-four (24) months from the date of first purchase of the Product by end user.

-Users who successfully purchase Xiaomi 17 Ultra during the initial sales month (from 2026/3/1 to 2026/4/15 will receive a one-time replacement right. A one-time replacement right within the warranty period:The validity period of this service commences on the start date of the warranty period and terminates on the end date of the warranty period.

- Out-of-warranty repair with free labor costs within warranty period :The validity period of this service commences on the start date of the warranty period and terminates on the end date of the warranty period.

- 3 month of Google AI Pro. To enjoy this service, beneficiaries need to purchase and activate the product before March 31, 2026. The offer expires and must be redeemed by March 31, 2026.

4.  SERVICES DESCRIPTION

4.1 One free screen replacement within 6 months 

Beneficiaries who purchase the Product between the 2026/03/01 and 2027/03/15 are eligible for a One-time (1) free screen replacement service during the first six (6) months after the date of first purchase of the Product by the end user, if the screen of the above mentioned Products is damaged or faulty by a non-intentional action by end users (i.e. like non-intentional falling of the Product).

If the Xiaomi Authorized Service Center assesses the screen should be replaced, such replacement of the screen shall be free of any charge.

In order to benefit from this offer, Beneficiaries shall contact the Xiaomi Customer Support or visit nearest Xiaomi authorized service center. Beneficiaries will be requested to provide the invoice of the purchase and/or the delivery bill.

a) Exclusions

   This Service does not apply to or cover the following situations: 

  1. The serial number and/or IMEI number of the Product is damaged or has been removed or tampered with;

  2. The Product is a counterfeit and was not manufactured by Xiaomi;

  3. Damages to the screen are caused intentionally or with gross negligence;

  4. Damages affect only the surface of the screen, such as scratches or other aesthetic appearance of the screen;

  5. Damages are incurred by malware, unauthorized software or third-party apps used by the end users;

  6. The Beneficiary does not provide the invoice of the purchase or delivery bill if it is required;

  7. The defect is caused by a non-intended purposes use or contrary to Xiaomi’s or the seller´s instructions, manuals or guidelines;

  8. The defect arises from the Beneficiary’s own or unauthorized repair/manipulation, or the use of non-authorized or non-original spare parts, software, or components.

This service is not also applicable to Products that, due to the damages or alteration of the screen, have to be replaced with a new Product. Such replacement will be subject to the legal warranty standards.

Nothing in this offer shall limit Beneficiaries’ rights under the applicable law.

4.2 Xiaomi 17 Ultra Xiaomi Smartphone International Warranty Service

Beneficiaries who purchased Xiaomi 17 Ultra will be eligible for the Xiaomi Smartphone International Warranty Service (including repair service and software upgrade service) at the designated service center(s) of Xiaomi in the markets listed in the terms and conditions of Xiaomi Smartphone International Warranty Service for Xiaomi 17 Ultra. The services under this international warranty service will be provided: (1) in accordance with the laws and standards in the market where the services are provided, to the extent permitted by local laws, and (2) based on the availability of materials in this market, to ensure that the Product can be used normally in the market where services are provided.

4.3 A one-time replacement right within the warranty period

a)  If the device is verified by Xiaomi's official after-sales service to have a warranty-covered hardware quality defect, the user shall be entitled to an optional one-time replacement-instead-of-repair service as an additional after-sales benefit, with Xiaomi directly shipping a new device to the user's designated location. This service will not limit consumers’ statutory right to repair.

b) When using this service, users shall first hand over their old mobile phones to be replaced to Xiaomi's official after-sales service before receiving the new mobile phones for replacement.

c) This service entitlement shall become null and void and unenforceable if the device has any repair records.

d) The replacement-instead-of-repair entitlement is limited to a single use and shall expire immediately after a device replacement is completed under this entitlement.

e) For device replacement, a brand-new device of the same model(same capable and color ) will be the primary option.

f) The scope of this warranty service is limited to hardware malfunctions covered by the three guarantees (repair, replacement and refund) provisions. It excludes malfunctions caused by accidental or intentional human damage, including but not limited to falling, collision, extrusion, liquid ingress, unauthorized disassembly or repair, dents, scratches and loss of components; in addition, the relevant accessories (The charger, data cable, and other items included in the packaging that come with the mobile phone.) of the device must be complete.

g) No replacement-instead-of-repair service shall be provided for battery issues arising from normal wear and tear during use, nor for problems unrelated to electrical performance.

h) The replacement-instead-of-repair service is only available for use in the local market where the mobile phone was purchased.

i)  A one-time replacement right within the warranty period is only available for Xiaomi 17 Ultra

j) This benefit is not available in the EU region, where consumer rights are governed by local statutory warranty regulations

4.4  Out-of-warranty repair with free labor costs within the warranty period  

Beneficiaries are eligible for out-of-warranty repair (“OOW Repair”) with free labor cost within the warranty period from the date Beneficiaries purchased the Product (hereinafter, “OOW Repair Period”). Only labor fees can be exempted, other spare parts cost and/or logistic cost shall subject to the respective Xiaomi Authorized Service Centre where the OOW Repair is provided.

  1. Mechanism of the OOW repair

For the performance of the out of warranty repair (hereinafter “Repair”), the Beneficiaries will benefit from labor fees for free (spare parts costs and/or logistics costs excluded as better specified under A (i) and A (ii) below).

During the OOW Repair Period, Beneficiaries can make use of the Service in two (2) ways:

i. Take the Product to the front-end Xiaomi Authorized Service Center for on-site repair

Beneficiaries can directly take the Products to one of the Xiaomi Authorized Service Centers as listed on https://www.mi.com/sa-ar/support/service-centre/for the Repair. 

The Xiaomi Authorized Service Center will verify the fulfillment of all the conditions imposed for the eligibility of this Service, under the scope of this agreement: ownership and product eligibility.

The Xiaomi Authorized Service Center will perform an inspection and provide the Beneficiary with a work estimate for the repair of the Product. The labor cost will already be extracted from this offer. Please note that the cost of spare parts and, if necessary, logistics are not part of this Service and shall be borne by the Beneficiary.

Based on the work estimate, Beneficiaries will decide whether to proceed with the Repair or not. In the latter case, the Products will be returned and the inspection costs will be borne by the Beneficiaries.

Contact the Xiaomi Customer Service via local mi.com for mail-in repair

Beneficiaries can contact Xiaomi Customer Service during the OOW Repair Period through the contact information as listed on https://www.mi.com/sa/support/ and apply for the Service. 

The Xiaomi Customer Service will ask Beneficiaries to provide invoice of the purchase or delivery bill and IMEI number of the Product, in order to check if the conditions of the Service are fulfilled and arrange mail-in repair.

After the device is arrived at the mail-in repair center, an inspection of the Product will be performed and a detailed offer for the repair of the Product. The labor cost will already be extracted from this offer. Please note that the cost of spare parts and logistics are not part of this Service and shall be borne by the Beneficiary. Beneficiaries can then decide whether to accept the offer and have the Product repaired, or not. In the latter case, the Product will be returned, the inspection costs and logistics fee will be borne by the Beneficiaries.

  1. This Service does not apply to or cover the following situations

  1. The serial number and/or IMEI number is damaged or has been removed or tampered with;

  2. The product is a counterfeit and was not manufactured by Xiaomi.

4.5  3-month trial of Google AI Pro at no cost

How to Redeem:

·   Open the Gemini app or Google One app

·   Click “Try now” on the pop-up that says “Try Google AI Pro at no extra cost”. If you don’t see the pop-up, tap the profile icon in the right hand corner and select “Try Google AI Pro” from the menu

·  Tap “Start trial.” A valid form of payment is required at sign-up, but you won’t be charged until the trial period expires. Cancel anytime before the trial expires to avoid being charged.

5.    MISCELLANEOUS

5.1. Data Privacy: Xiaomi attaches great importance to our Users' privacy and is committed to ensuring the security of your personal information. Xiaomi strictly complies with all applicable laws and privacy policies for processing your personal information necessary to provide after-sales services (including maintenance, repair and/or spare phone lending services) to you.

For the purpose of providing you the Services under this agreement, Xiaomi will act as the data controller and we will collect, store and use your strictly necessary contact information (name, phone number, email address, ID number) and the device information. Please note that we may share also this information with any of our Authorized Service Centers, if necessary.

5.2. The maintenance of some components may be required for replacement of spare parts. Therefore, the repaired products or parts may not be the original ones.

5.3. This offer is only applicable to the Products described above on clause 1. Other Xiaomi smartphones or products will not be eligible for this offer.

5.4. Please notice following When you enjoy one-time replacement right:

5.4.1.       Please be sure to delete all your files, log out your Xiaomi account and disable your security password when hand over the old phone, including but not limited to your personal and/or confidential documents and data. The User is responsible for: (a) erasing all data (including personal and/or confidential files and data from the User); and (b) making back-up copies of all data you wish to retain, before hand over your old phone to the Authorized Service Center. Xiaomi assumes no responsibility for any data loss and privacy issues caused by your personal documents or data remaining on or not being deleted from the old phone when you hand over.

5.4.2. This one-time replacement right offer is only applicable to Xiaomi 17Ultra.

5.5. The Beneficiaries acknowledges that the general terms and conditions described on https://www.mi.com/sa/support/warranty/remain applicable. In the event of a contradiction between these Terms and Conditions and the general terms and conditions described on the relevant www.mi.com page, these Terms and Conditions shall prevail. These terms and conditions are subject to Saudi Arabia Law.

6.   The Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi enjoys the same benefits as the Xiaomi 17 Ultra.
