The Xiaomi Home App displays water usage with a flow precision of 0.1 L, rounding to one decimal place, and a time precision of 1 second. The Mijia Smart Water Purifier N800G internally measures water in milliliters, which is a finer unit than the App's display.
When the purified water tap is operated very briefly, such as quickly turning it on and off. After conversion and rounding in the App, very brief water usage is recorded as 0.0 L, and the time displays as 0 s.
This behavior is normal and does not indicate any device malfunction. The purifier accurately measures water consumption internally, and subsequent longer water draws will be reflected correctly in the App, ensuring accurate water usage tracking and clear daily consumption data.
