Why does the voice assistant on the Xiaomi Watch 5 not respond after being activated?

If the voice assistant on the Xiaomi Watch 5 does not respond after being activated, please check the following:
1. Check the connection between the watch and the phone and ensure they are paired. Open watch settings and use Find my phone to test. If the phone rings, the connection is normal.
2. Ensure Bluetooth and network connections are stable. Keep the watch and phone close to each other, and make sure the network is working properly. It is recommended to connect the watch directly to Wi-Fi.
3. Confirm Google Assistant configuration. On the phone, ensure Google Assistant is enabled. On the watch, confirm that you are logged in to a Google Account and have completed the initial assistant setup.
Note:
If the phone and the watch are logged in to different Google Accounts, the voice assistant can not function properly.
4. Try restarting both the watch and the phone.
5. If the voice assistant still does not respond, we recommend performing a factory reset on the watch, then re-pairing it with your phone and signing in to your Google account again.
6. If you have tried all of the above steps but the issue persists, please submit feedback via the Mi Fitness App and wait patiently for a future firmware update.
