Limited Warranty Statement

LIMITED WARRANTY STATEMENT


This limited warranty shall apply to Xiaomi products. For handset, air purifier and accessory defects under normal use circumstances and at the discretion of the company, Xiaomi shall provide free of charge repair and/or replacement services within the warranty period.

The Limited Warranty starts from the date of activation.
During the warranty period, if any accessory defect is inspected and confirmed by a Xiaomi authorized service center, a free replacement service shall be provided.

Mobile Warranty Policy & Conditions

  1. This limited warranty is only valid in India, and the product is not eligible for any international warranty service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, warranty service may only be performed by Xiaomi or Xiaomi authorized service centers.
  2. Xiaomi may conduct diagnostic tests on customers‘ products to identify the causes of failures/defects. Before returning any unit for service, customer should back up data and remove any confidential and/or personal information from the product. Xiaomi is not responsible for damage or loss of any program, data, or removable storage media.

  3. Prior to contacting a Xiaomi service agent, please ensure the following information is at hand:

    • Model, serial number, and IMEI number if available.
    • Customer’s full address and contact information.
    • Purchase order number, a copy of the customer’s original invoice/receipt.
  4. Manufacturing warranty applies on:

    • Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship of the product. This warranty applies when the product is used under normal conditions and for the purpose in which the product was designed. All replaced parts are owned by Xiaomi
  5. This warranty does not cover the following cases:

    • If the product serial number, IMEI number or warranty seal is illegible or has been removed, erased, defaced, altered, and/or tampered. If any accessory or external part of the product is missing.
    • Warranty does not cover natural wear & tear, usage under extreme conditions, damage due to improper care (accident, misuse or negligence) and damage caused by acts of god such as floods, fires or earthquakes.  If any damage occurs in/on outer surface of the product, including but not limited to cracks, dents or scratches on the exterior cases, screens, camera lenses, buttons and other attachments.
    • If it becomes dirty or damaged due to contact with chemical agents, water, sharp objects, improper handling, accident, abuse, or under abnormal use or conditions such as swimming, and so forth.
    • General maintenance, password reset assistance, cleaning, application update/installation, product demonstration, or any other service other than repair/replacement;
    • Warranty does not cover if the handset is rooted by the user
    • Deterioration of the product caused by normal wearing and tearing, including but not limited to rust or stains;
    • Any other circumstances that are contradictory or do not comply with business ethics.
  6. Xiaomi will determine whether a product is "Out of Warranty" at the company’s discretion according to the standards listed below. Repair of "Out of Warranty" products shall be separately quoted by the Xiaomi service center and respective service shall be provided upon service fee payment.

    • Violations against warranty, including but not limited to customer induced damage, such as self-repairs, exposure to water, damage caused by misuse, alternation, rooting of mobile, failure to comply with product manual, and so on.
    • Invalid warranty
    • Expired warranty

Mi ROBOT VACUUM-MOP P WARRANTY Terms & Condition:

AIR PURIFIER 4/4 LITE LIMITED WARRANTY

  1. Warranty is limited to the first purchaser of this product and it is not transferrable. Purchase invoice with corresponding model and serial number of the unit must be presented to claim warranty.
  2. The Limited Warranty starts from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, if any defect is inspected and confirmed by a Xiaomi Technology India Pvt. Ltd. (“Xiaomi”) authorized service centre, a free replacement/service shall be provided.
  3. This limited warranty is only valid in India, and the product is not eligible for any international warranty service. To the fullest extent permitted by law, warranty service may only be performed by Xiaomi or Xiaomi authorized service centres.
  4. Prior to contacting a Xiaomi service agent, please ensure the following information is at hand: • Model, serial number if available. • Customer’s full address and contact information. • Purchase order number, a copy of the customer’s original invoice/receipt.
  5. This warranty does not cover the following cases: • If the product serial number or warranty seal is illegible or has been removed, erased, defaced, altered, and/or tampered. If any accessory or external part of the product is missing. • Warranty does not cover natural wear & tear, • Physical damage caused by the customer (including liquid damage) due to improper use or handling, unauthorised modifications/repairs, repairs or installation done by unauthorised persons, use of product/system with equipment not approved by Xiaomi. • Acts of God, lightning, electricity surges / abnormal voltage, damage during transit to and from customer’s residence or Authorised Service Centre subsequent to the initial delivery and installation of the product. • Product is not used in the recommended manner • Product issues caused by use of parts, peripherals or software not recommended by Xiaomi. • If any damage occurs in/on outer surface of the product, including but not limited to cracks, and other attachments. • General maintenance, password reset assistance, cleaning, application update/installation, product demonstration, or any other service other than repair/replacement; • Deterioration of the product caused by normal wearing and tearing, including but not limited to rust or stains; • Any other circumstances that are contradictory or are not in compliance with business ethics.

  8. It is recommended that the Filter be changed to ensure proper functioning of Air purifier. Genuine filters will be available for purchase from Mi.com, Mi home and authorized online and Offline channels
  9. The warranty does not cover accessories external to the product e.g. cables, etc.
  10. Xiaomi's obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair or providing replacement of parts only.
  11. In the event of repairs/replacement of any parts of the product, this warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the warranty from date of purchase. Moreover, the time taken for repair/replacement whether under the warranty or otherwise shall not be excluded from the warranty period.
  12. In case of any damage during transit attributable to the Customer, the product shall be repaired by the concerned service center on chargeable basis and the warranty for unexpired period shall continue from date of purchase.
  13. Xiaomi or its Authorized Service Centre reserves the right to retain any parts or components replaced at its discretion, in the event of a defect being noticed in the equipment during warranty period.
  14. Replacement of parts would be purely at the discretion of Xiaomi. In the event, the replacement of the entire unit is being made, (at the sole discretion of the Xiaomi), another unit of the same model shall be given as replacement and in the event, such a model has been discontinued, it shall be replaced with an equivalent model as deemed by Xiaomi.
  15. In the event of any unforeseen circumstances, and/or spares not being available, the Company's prevailing depreciation rules will be binding on the Customer to accept as a commercial solution in lieu of repairs.
  16. The liability for claims shall not exceed the cost of the product itself.
  17. This warranty will automatically terminate on the expiry of the warranty period as specified herein.
  18. No Dealer/Distributor/Retailer has authority to vary the terms of above warranty.
  19. Only courts in Bangalore shall have the jurisdiction for settling any claims, or disputes arising under the warranty.
  20. Warranty is applicable only for products purchased in India. Applicable service charges may be different for products purchased outside India (Other than India)

Xiaomi / Redmi LED Smart TV Warranty Terms & Conditions

  1. Warranty is only limited to the first purchaser (“Purchaser” or “you”) of Xiaomi / Redmi LED smart television (“Product”) and it is not transferable.
  2. The warranty shall start from the date of purchase of the Product, as appearing on the Product’s purchase invoice, and shall be valid for a period of 12 months (“Warranty Period”).
  3. The Purchaser can avail a free-of-cost installation or demonstration of the Product once, within fifteen (15) days of the date of delivery of the Product.
  4. Purchase invoice with corresponding model and serial number of the Product must be presented to claim warranty.
  5. The Purchaser may avail repair / replacement of parts for the Product, at an authorized service centre (“ASC”) of Xiaomi Technology India Private Limited only (“Xiaomi” or “Company”).
  6. Free Installation or demo of the product, can be availed only once & within 15 days from the date of delivery. Installation has been defined under free condition, while shall share free for Table Top & Chargeable for Wall Mount.
  7. The warranty does not cover accessories external to the Product, such as HDMI cables, USB devices etc.
  8. Company's obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repair or providing replacement of parts of the Product only. During the Warranty Period, if any Product defect is inspected and confirmed by an authorized service centre of Xiaomi, free-of-charge repair or replacement of Product components and parts shall be provided. If the ASC finds that the Product inspected by the service engineer is customer-induced damage as mentioned in CID terms and conditions below, the Purchaser shall pay a visiting charge for inspection, as may be charged by the ASC.
  9. This limited warranty is only valid in India, and the Product is not eligible for international warranty service.
  10. Prior to contacting a Xiaomi ASC, the Purchaser shall have the following information at hand (a) model and serial number of the Product, (b) Purchaser’s name and contact information, (c) Product purchase invoice number, and (d) copy of the Purchaser’s invoice / receipt.
  11. In the event of repairs/replacement of any parts of the Product, this warranty will thereafter continue and remain in force only for the unexpired period of the Warranty Period from the date of purchase of the Product. Moreover, the time taken for repair/replacement whether under the warranty or otherwise shall not be excluded from the Warranty Period.
  12. In case of any damage during transit by Customer, the product shall be repaired by the concerned service center on a chargeable basis and warranty for unexpired period to continue from the date of purchase of the Product.
  13. Xiaomi or its ASCs reserve the right to retain any parts or components replaced in the Product, at its discretion, in the event of a defect being observed in the Product during the Warranty Period.
  14. Replacement of parts and components in the Product would be purely at the discretion of the Company, alone. In case the replacement of the entire unit Product is being made, (subject to the sole discretion of the Company), the Product shall be replaced by the same model, and, in the event, such model of the Product has been discontinued, it shall be replaced with the model equivalent as deemed by the Company.
  15. The TV/product box must be opened and installed by a Xiaomi authorized personnel/technician else the warranty or any other claim will be void.
  16. In the event of any unforeseen circumstance, and spares not being available, the Company's prevailing depreciation rules will be binding on the Purchaser to accept as a commercial solution.

  1. Warranty shall be void if

a) Product has failed under certain conditions/types causing damage, malfunction, or failure resulting from accidents, misuse, abuse, fire, liquid spillage, waterlogging, improper cleaning, improper voltage input, voltage supply problems, power surges and dips, improper earthing, thunderstorm activities (lightning), Acts of God, or while in transit to service center or to the purchaser's residence, forcible attachment into USB, HDMI and other input ports resulting in damage of pins, use of improper or incompatible accessories, improper ventilation, unauthorized tampering, adaptations, or adjustments to the product or alteration or of any identification labels on the product or any of its components including serial number by an unauthorized agent

b) Site (premises where the product is kept) conditions that do not conform to the recommended operating conditions of the machine/unit.

c) Defects caused by viruses from your or from third-party software / unauthorized access to services, settings, content, data, or links, other accounts, computer systems, or networks. This unauthorized access can take place through hacking, password-mining or through a variety of means

d) Damages caused by exposure to abnormally corrosive environmental conditions, exposure to direct sunlight, Laser beams, formation of fungus, entry by any insect, ants, vermin, household pet or foreign object and dust in the product and, but not limited to, customer making a rooting or modification by himself

e) Damage caused to the product due to connection of the product to equipment via STBs, DVR of CCTV cameras and others which do not meet the safety and other standards applicable under Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS)

f) Defects or alleged defects caused by the fact that the product was used with, or connected to, a product, accessories, software and/or service not manufactured, supplied, or authorized by Xiaomi or was used otherwise than for its intended use.

  1. Company will not be liable in case of

a) Deficiency in product performance due to improper internet signal, unexpected connectivity loss due to wireless interferences, temporary glitches due to issues from content providers such as Android, Google, and other application service providers or sudden termination of services by such service providers, signal reception through third-party apparatus/equipment or the use of third-party software and/or recorded media

b) Loss of data or information stored on any media or any part of the product, no matter how it occurred and for any loss or damage arising from loss of use, loss of profits or revenue, or for any resulting indirect or consequential loss or damage

c) Consequential or resulting liability, damage or loss to property or life arising directly or indirectly out of any defect in the product. The maximum claim if entertained by the Company will be subject to the maximum retail price of the product purchased or the purchase price, whichever is lower.

  1. LED pixel policy states that defects such as dark pixels and bright pixels are strictly considered defects if there are more than 4 defective pixels in an LED display or more than 8 defective pixels in an OLED display.

During the warranty period, if any accessory defect is inspected and confirmed by a Xiaomi authorized service centre, a free replacement service shall be provided.

    • damage from third party software or from virus (es), Product issues caused by use of parts, peripherals or software not recommended by the Company.
    • software loss or data loss that may occur during repair or replacement. Xiaomi is only responsible for the re-installation of software that was pre-installed by Xiaomi in the Mi Notebook.
  5. Manufacturing warranty is applicable on:
    • Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship of the product. This warranty applies when the product is used under normal conditions and for the purpose in which the product was designed.
    • This includes battery malformation not attributable to the customer, inability of the Mi Notebook to connect to network, etc.
  6. Xiaomi will determine whether a product is "Out of Warranty" at the company’s discretion according to the standards listed below.
