How to install batteries in the remote control of the Mijia Air Conditioner Pro Eco Inverter 1.0 HP?
The remote control for the Mijia Air Conditioner Pro Eco Inverter 1.0 HP uses infrared (IR) signals. To operate, point the remote control towards the front of the air conditioner (the display panel) to control it.
To install batteries in the remote control of the air conditioner, please follow these steps:
1. Press the groove at the top of the battery cover with your finger, then slide the cover downward (see left image);
2. Open the battery compartment and insert two AAA batteries according to the polarity shown in the right image. Then close the battery cover securely.
Note:
1. The infrared receiver is located behind the display panel, which is slightly translucent;
2. The effective remote control distance is less than 8 meters, within approximately a 45° angle to the left or right;
3. Please pay attention to the battery polarity when installing batteries in the remote control of the air conditioner. Incorrect installation causes the remote control to malfunction. Do not pull or forcefully pry open the battery cover.
