Smartbox Terms and Conditions

• While placing the order, the customer can also select a Smartbox terminal as delivery address from the list of available Smartbox terminals. Select a terminal for parcel pick-up as per the convenience.

• The parcel gets delivered in the terminal selected by the customer. Any change in selected terminal for drop-off will not be entertained once opted by the customer.

• As the parcel is dropped-off at the terminal selected by the customer, the customer receives a notification via SMS and Email. These notifications will have terminal details and the secure OTP.

• For the purpose of authentication, the locker will only open on entering the secure OTP that the customer has received via SMS / Email. Use the secure OTP to collect your parcel from the terminal.

• The parcel will be available at the Smartbox terminal for a duration of 72 hours, after the parcel is delivered to the terminal. The same can be picked-up at any time during these 72 hours.

• The customer can pay through Debit Card/Credit Card/Paytm/UPI for parcel collection. The cash payment option is unavailable.

• Smartbox will make every reasonable effort for parcel collection. In that endeavor, the customer will get 4 notifications via SMS as well as email for the online order.

  1. The first notification informs the customer that the order has been delivered to the Smartbox terminal and can be retrieved using the mentioned One Time Password (OTP).
  2. If the parcel is not picked up, then additional notifications are sent after 24 hours and 48 hours reminding the customer.
  3. Last notification is sent 6 hours before the parcel expires.

• If the customer fails to pick-up within 72 hours, the parcel will get expired and the customer will get one final notification that the parcel has now expired. In this situation, the order will be cancelled, the parcel will be returned back to seller and will no longer be available for the pick-up.

• Entering the OTP sent to the registered mobile number of the customer opens the locker for parcel collection. Do not share OTP with anyone. It shall be customer’s sole responsibility to keep the OTP safe and neither Xiaomi, platform operator, seller or Smartbox will hold any responsibility in case of OTP misuse for fraudulent parcel collection.

• For each parcel collection using the OTP, it will be considered as a successful delivery and the order will be closed. • All orders worth ₹500 and above enjoy free delivery, while a nominal delivery fee of ₹50 is applied on orders below.

• The return policy of the parcel will be governed as per the platform policy.

• The platform operator solely reserves the right to change/modify return/refund policy without giving any prior notice.
