Incredible effort went into the responsiveness and sensitivity of the sensor, so that Mi 5 leaps into action at your slightest touch. We chose ceramic to encase the fingerprint sensor for its durability and hardness. It also has a higher permittivity than sapphire, for better sensitivity.
